Club Eagles thrash Valencia 6-1 in today’s Male league encounter.
Goals from Hassan Raif Ahmed and a couple Ahmed Rizuvan gave Eagles a comfortable lead before half-time. Brazilian striker Purcino Luiz Eduardo then scored a second half hat-trick before Valencia striker Hryshyn Valeri placed a beautifully taken goal for Valencia. Unfortunately for Valencia, it was only a consolation goal, with Muan Moosa Manik and Baka dominating the middle hardly giving Valencia any space.
The win takes Eagles seven points to the top of the league. With six clubs qualifying to the Premier League, Eagles looks to be on course. Meanwhile the defeat leaves Valencia 8 points away from safety. The bottom two will play a three team league to decide the two teams that drop to the second division.
